What are the true TF9 Skates made of? Are they durable?
The TRUE TF9 skates are made with the TRUE Shell technology, a unique co-molded, one-piece shell consisting of thermoplastic and carbon fiber that molds to your foot like no other boot.
As a result, there is an unsurpassed fit, and maximal energy transmission is possible. A step further, the boot is heat moldable, enabling you to further customize the fit for your foot.
You would typically see an outsole on traditional skates at this pricing bracket. The midsole and outsole have been removed from the TRUE TF9 skates’ design to further improve energy transfer with every step and reduce weight.
A tongue that wraps around your foot anatomically is located on the front of the skate. It is strengthened to help offer additional comfort and protection.
This tongue’s customizable design is its standout quality. It can be modified to fit your preferences and is secured in place by a Velcro tab.
Are True TF9 Skates Comfortable? And how do they fit?
The term “hydro foam” refers to the foam that makes up most of the internal padding. Its well-padded, moisture-wicking construction prevents gross things from growing inside your skates. The skates’ stench is also lessened by doing this.
Even though they are stock skates, you can choose to swap out the footbed. This is important since you can acquire the proper fit for your foot thanks to it.
The TRUE TF9 skates are offered in normal and wide widths and have a medium fit profile. The medium fit profile has a medium volume but a narrower mid-foot, in my opinion.
My foot has enough of room in the heel and forefoot, but the midfoot is when I start to experience some discomfort. I would say that it is a little bit narrower in the mid foot than the Supreme, or their new Mid Profile, compared to the old-style Bauer fit method.
Personally, I believe that choosing a wide fit over a normal fit would have been more advantageous. But the TRUE skates’ capacity to conform to your foot is one of their greatest advantages.
You’ll immediately notice how well the skates fit your foot and wrap around and over it. Nothing else currently on the market is like this. The eyelets on most skates appear to stick straight out, creating a larger opening and necessitating tighter lace knots to get the same wrap effect.
With the TRUE skates, however, the work is already done for you, and the result is a great, comfortable fit across the top of your foot that significantly reduces negative space inside the boot.
How does True TF9 Skates Perform?
The performance you get from the TRUE TF9 skates is exactly what you expect from a pair made for elite-level athletes. Carbon fiber makes up the boot on these skates. This allows the best energy transfer, which serves the objective of them providing good protection.
Energy travels through the skate and onto the ice when you propel yourself forward with your legs. These carbon fiber skates boost your ability to maneuver with more force and speed.
When discussing performance, weight is another aspect that is relevant. Compared to the Hyperlite skates, the True TF9 skates weigh only 904 Grams, or 55 Grams less. Impressive for a skate that is many hundred dollars cheaper than the earlier model.
On the holder for the skates, True has also unveiled new technology. With a system resembling that of CCM and Bauer releases, you can now replace the blade much more quickly. The technology to easily insert and remove the blade without using a tool has finally arrived.
Is there a difference between the Senior, Intermediate, Junior, and Youth versions of true tf9 Skates?
When you first put on your skates, thrust your foot forward so that your flat toes just brush the toe cap. Look behind the heel of your foot as it travels down the skate by bending your knee forward.
The skates are too big if you insert a finger behind the heel easily. Push your fingertip firmly between the heel of your foot and the back of the skate.
While each player may have a preferred fit, hockey skates should be one and a half sizes smaller than your shoe size. This will be a close match for most players. For instance, you should choose a skate size 7.5 if your U.S. men’s shoe size is 9.
SENIOR Hockey Skates
Adults and fully grown children with a Men’s US shoe size of 8 or larger can wear skates.
Intermediate Hockey Skates
Kids between the ages of 10 and 13 who wear US shoe sizes 5 to 7 can fit into intermediate hockey skates.
JUNIOR Hockey Skates
made for children who wear US shoe sizes 2 to 4.5 and are between the ages of 8 and 10.
YOUTH Hockey Skates
made to fit children with US juvenile shoe sizes of 1.5 or less who are 9 years old or under.

The True TF9 skates are, all things considered, the best skates you can buy for the price you pay ($599.99). There is no doubt that you can locate a TRUE TF9 skate that will fit and function with your foot given the distinctiveness of their boot and fit, regular and wide widths, and outstanding heat molding properties.
