What are the True TF7 Skates made of? Are they durable?

Beginning with the boot, True created the TF7 boot using their 3D scanning technology and hundreds of foot scans. This makes playing TF7 enjoyable straight out of the gate and caters to roughly 90% of players across leisure and professional-level categories.

Due to the boots’ thermoforming Trueshell fiberglass shells, players with both regular and broad feet can have a completely tailored fit.

The True TF7 skates include an anatomical felt tongue that provides a firm, contoured design at the top of the skate. Any skater can benefit from the tongue’s greater comfort thanks to its conventional feel and fit.

The TF9 and TF7 are nearly identical from the outside. You can only tell them distinct by the heel of the shoe if you ignore the blade’s color, the tongue’s design, and the finish material on the inside of the shoe.

Are True TF7 Skates Comfortable? And how do they fit?

The whole interior of the boot is lined with True’s Blackwick liner. Your feet will stay dry and comfy thanks to the antibacterial and moisture-wicking liner.

In order to suit various foot types, True added fit inserts to the footbed as part of a personalized fit system. These inserts’ locations are designated on the insole, which makes it simpler to install them correctly for a snug fit.

True skates can be identified by their highly developed level of anatomical complexity in the boot. A better fit is what they actively seek. I want you to notice the placement of the ankles on the inside and outside.

The walls of the boot are the same length, despite their natural offset location from one another. This makes me feel uneasy. The boot-forming process is made possible by True Shell Technology, which in this case combines the use of fiberglass and thermoplastic.

How do true t7 Skates Perform?

The TF7s employ the identical SHIFT holders as their True TF9 big brother. These holders include BenchChange technology, enabling players to swap out skate blades without the need for specialized equipment.

You can rapidly swap out damaged or dull blades and get back on the ice thanks to this straightforward press-to-release system. Blades made of thick, heavy-duty SHIFT stainless steel that maintains its edge over time are included with the holders.

True’s TF7s are designed for mid-level players seeking items that are dynamically performing and custom-fitting. The weight difference turns out to be very small, and the skating experience appears to be very similar between the T7 and T9 boots.

Is there a difference between the Senior, Intermediate, Junior and Youth versions of true t7 Skates?

When you first put on your skates, thrust your foot forward so that your flat toes just brush the toe cap. Look behind the heel of your foot as it travels down the skate by bending your knee forward.

The skates are too big if you insert a finger behind the heel easily. Push your fingertip firmly between the heel of your foot and the back of the skate.

While each player may have a preferred fit, hockey skates should be one and a half sizes smaller than your shoe size. This will be a close match for most players. For instance, you should choose a skate size 7.5 if your U.S. men’s shoe size is 9.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Adults and fully grown children with a Men’s US shoe size of 8 or larger can wear skates.

Intermediate Hockey Skates
Kids between the ages of 10 and 13 who wear US shoe sizes 5 to 7 can fit into intermediate hockey skates.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
made for children who wear US shoe sizes 2 to 4.5 and are between the ages of 8 and 10.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
made to fit children with US juvenile shoe sizes of 1.5 or less who are 9 years old or under.

Our Verdict/Overall Thoughts on true t7 Skates

The True TF7 Skates are your best option if you’re a mid-level skater searching for a custom-like fit and dynamic performance.

True T7 is a high-performance device overall. For a price of US$329.99, I believe this boot is among the best out there.

I hope this write-up has helped guide you to the pros and cons of this boot. I strongly recommend this boot for mid-level players that seek advancement in their game.

I’m the former footballer/athlete, who could have gone pro was it not for my knee injury! Never heard that before, have you? Jokes aside, my life nowadays really revolves around work, fitness, watching A LOT of sports and spending time with the ones I love (add blogging to that!)
